Do you move furniture?
Yes. We move and protect furniture as part of our standard service. We ask that you take down wall art, breakables, and small personal items, and we handle the rest.
What kind of paint do you use?
We use professional-grade paint chosen for each project. Never store-brand or contractor commodity paint. We pick the right product for the surface and the finish you're after.
Can I stay in my home during the painting?
Yes. We work in occupied homes constantly. We just need access to the rooms we're painting that day, and we plan the sequence so you always have a working kitchen and at least one bathroom. Most homeowners just close the bedroom door for naps.
Can you paint over wallpaper or does it need to come down?
Almost always, it has to come down. Painting over wallpaper traps air bubbles, telegraphs the seams forever, and makes future repaints harder. We strip, repair the underlying wall, prime, then paint as one project. Rare exceptions exist for older grasscloth that's perfectly adhered, and we'll tell you honestly if that's the case.
